Wyong Shire Council works hard to create a sustainable business sector and local employment by giving priority to the processing of employment-generating development applications and providing infrastructure to support local economic development.
Recent developments in the Shire include Bluetongue Brewery and Primo Smallgoods at Warnervale, while the Centrelink Call Centre at Tuggerah Business Park will open by the end of the year.
More recently, the State Government approved the $276 million Warner Industrial Park, which will create 3,000 jobs, and is part of the Wyong Employment Zone (WEZ). The WEZ is a 744 hectare site that has the capacity to provide 6,000 local jobs.
Wyong Shire Council has a clear vision and commitment to creating local employment opportunities.
