The Wade family @ Silver Gully Estate have been running a Squaremeater cattle stud at Mangrove Mountain since 2000. They are now producing premium meat packages which are sold direct to the consumer who is interested in not only a quality product, but in a product that has been produced in a biologically sustainable, ethical manner. The grass fed, free range cattle at Silver Gully fulfil this brief.
The Wade family have been showing their cattle at regional and national agricultural shows since 2003, where they received their first broad ribbon at the Royal Easter Show in 2003, taking out the Reserve Senior Sqauremeater Female award. Since then they have built on that success, culminating in wins including the Grand Champion Sqaremeater Female 2007 & 2009, Senior Champion Female 2010, and Supreme Champion Squaremeater Hawkesbury Show 2010.
